Meet Mira Frame: The Mira-Chan Model Kit That Doesn't Exist (Yet)

Mira Frame concept box art: Mira-Chan lunging with a blue beam saber in a hangar

If you've opened the chat on our site, you've met Mira-Chan, the Hobby Gundam USA mascot and the assistant who helps builders pick their next kit. She has spent a lot of time recommending Gunpla, so we started wondering: what would her model kit look like?

Meet Mira Frame.

Concept art only. Mira Frame is not a real product and is not for sale. These are concept images we made for fun, and Mira Frame is not made by or affiliated with Bandai.

The box

Every good kit starts with box art, and Mira's goes all in: a dynamic lunge across a hangar floor, beam saber blazing, with the built figure shown in the corner the way a real kit box would. Inside, we imagined the extras you'd hope for: a spare face plate and swap hands.

On the runners

We pictured it the way a modern color-molded kit comes: white, blue, red and yellow plates so she looks right straight off the runners, plus clear rainbow parts for her signature hair.

The dream spec sheet

  • Height: about 15 cm built
  • Runners: 6 color-molded plates plus clear rainbow hair parts
  • Faces: 3 face plates (smile, wink and a serious face) and eye water decals
  • Extras: beam saber, swap hands and a clear action base
  • Build: snap-fit, no glue or paint needed

Built and posed

Here's how we imagine her once she's off the runners: standing on her base, and in a full attack pose on the workbench.

Want it to be real? Vote for it

This is where you come in. If you'd build a Mira Frame, tell us on the Mira Frame page. Add your email and you're counted as a vote, and you'll be first to hear if anything Mira gets made.

Vote for Mira Frame

A full plastic kit is a long shot, so let's be honest about what a big vote count could lead to: real Mira-Chan gear we can actually make, like acrylic standees, stickers or a decal sheet. Everyone on the list hears about it first.

While you wait, build a real one

Mira would want you building in the meantime. These ship from our Florida shop in 1 business day:

And if you need help picking, open the chat. Mira-Chan is right there in the corner.
