Full Mechanics kits represent Bandai's answer to builders wanting Master Grade complexity at a more compact 1/100 scale. These models feature highly detailed inner frames and mechanical systems comparable to MG quality, but in a smaller footprint. The build experience sits between HG and MG in terms of difficulty—expect intricate frame assembly, multiple runners, and satisfying articulation without the time commitment of a full Master Grade.
FM kits appeal to intermediate and advanced builders who've outgrown High Grade simplicity but value space efficiency or faster completion times. They're ideal if you want showcase-quality detail and posability without dedicating weeks to a build. While more demanding than standard HG kits, they're more forgiving than PG models, making them a natural stepping stone for serious hobbyists.
